BOIL WATER NOTICE LIFTED
Local officials lifted the boil water notice for people who get drinking water from the CITY OF BRANDON located in RANKIN COUNTY.
Users were first advised to boil their drinking water on March 13, 2024, when the system lost pressure. This affected approximately 285 customers from 400 – 3013 Louis Wilson Drive, Copperridge Subdivision, Ditto Circle, Deborah Drive, Dickson Drive, Oakmont Drive, Pine Circle, Rollingwood Avenue, Stoneybrook Subdivision, Rivage Subdivision, Grandeur Subdivision, and Glen Arbor Subdivision.
Multiple samples analyzed by the Mississippi State Department of Health Public Health Laboratory indicate the water now meets the standards of the Safe Drinking Water Act.
